Easter 09

First and foremost, HAPPY EASTER, guys!! (Start the morning with a musical..)

Being busy as usually lately, but hey, life goes on, right? Ok, ok. Yes, I know. Some of you may be wondering - "Hey, isn't Easter was on last Sunday?" True, but only half of it. As you see, the Easter celebration is always ritualized on the Sunday immediately following the Paschal Full Moon by the Western Christianity on the 12th April annually- Roman Catholic, Anglican Communion, Protestant Churches, etc. But here in Russian Federation, they tend to follow the Eastern Orthodox Churches celebration calender date, which falls on the 19th of the same month - Today lah.

Something doesn't seems to be quite right over here..

Information about Easter here. Aside from the Remembrance of Jesus Christ Crucifixion & Resurrection, I don't somewhat understand the history or factual clarification of the 'other' extra part of this festival- what with the poor rabbit and the colourful eggs? Fortunately, happened to stumble upon this video below which did some explanatory stuff, I think...

Alas, the answers that leads to an ancient and mysterious secret society created in the Middle Ages to protect the secret of the Easter Bunny.- Parody of The Da Vinci Code. Hope the Angels & Demons movie stay true to the book this time.. It will be better that way. Nevertheless, I've found the art of eggs painting quite relaxing, therapeutically. Will post up the Easter eggs pictures designs soon.
